Swarangini, is a type of book that can be considered as complete manual about music that suits all sort of learners, may they be beginners, amateurs or even professionals.
At this point, it is important to understand that Indian Classical music has been differentiated in 2 :-
types of notation systems. The types are defined by:
1. Pandit Vishnu Narayan Bhath Khanday (North Indian Notation System)
2. Pandit Vishnu Digambar Paloskar (South Indian Notation System)
All the notations described in Swarangini come from Pandit Vishnu Narayan Bhath Khanday, aswe follow the North Indian notation system. The 10 thaats of Indian Classical music explained in this book, when played in 12 different scales make the 10 pages multiply to 1200 pages which is no less than a complete tutorial for music learning.
The thaats described in this book further lead to the raags which we also teach, as per our specific order. The thaats explained are also organized in a special order that implies the maximum impact on the learners with every other thaat having alternate notes. This enforces the vocal chords to experience difference in most of the notes, every time the thaats are practiced SPW’s specified order.
I am delighted that through Swarangini, you achieve your goals you have in your mind and have all the success.
With my blessings for all of the students
